Liberation Theology in Times of Political and Ecclesial Change

This article examines how Latin American liberation theology has changed in the past decade. It begins with a major challenge posed to by Clodovis Boff, an important author on methodology theology. The then theologians at time and since have responded of making more theological. They done this against backdrop two events that had positive impact theology’s standing. first negative event is worsening political economic situation highlighted commitment poor. second occurrence was election Pope Francis, whose language full terminology used theologians. effect these developments followed through brief study three theological congresses.
